How we handle your information

This notice covers applications to the Outside Quest Field Crew. Outside Quest is responsible for your information.

What we collect

• Your name, email, city and Instagram handle if you give it.
• How many kids you have and their age bands. We never ask for children’s names or birthdays.
• Which phone you’ll film on.
• Your audition video.

Why

Only to decide on your application and to reply to you. Your audition is never posted, shared or used in ads.

Who sees it

Only the Outside Quest team. Your video is stored privately with our hosting provider (Vercel) and can only be opened by the team through a link that expires after an hour.

How long we keep it

• If we say no, we delete your audition video within 30 days of our answer, and your details within 6 months.
• If you’re on the waitlist, we keep your application for up to 6 months, then delete it unless you ask us to keep it.
• If you join the Field Crew, we also keep your bank details (encrypted), your kids’ first initials and age bands, the consent you give for each child, and the videos you send. Your creator agreement explains what we keep and for how long.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time, or withdraw your application. DM us on Instagram at @outsidequestza and we’ll sort it out. You can also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
